Benchmarks for Plug and Play and Fault-tolerant Control
To facilitate research activities for interested research groups relevant information/models are made available here. The benchmark is a residential air condition (RAC) setup which is located in Danfoss' refrigeration lab. The figure illustrates the layout of the complete system. A locally developed data acquisition,
monitoring and control program called Minilog is used to monitor and control various parts of the system. However, the sensor/actuator devices in the evaporator
unit are separately connected to a Matlab XPC. This enables design and test of different control strategies in a fast and convenient manner by using Matlab's Simulink

Download of Benchmark Models
There are three options for choice of models.
Use the simple Simulink evaporator model (link below) for initial design.
Use the data set (link below) from a residential air conditioning system to generating your own model.
Use the given parameters (link below) for the residential air conditioning system.
All program files are in MATLAB® and SIMULINK®.
