The Refrigeration Laboratory

The Refrigeraton Laboratory at the Department of Control Engineering, Aalborg University, was inaugurated on May 28, 2004.

The Refrigeration Laboratory is a state of the art refrigeration system mounted with highly technological instrumentation, pumps with variably controllable capacity plus frequency converters for controlling various additional helping equipment. This makes the system a very flexible test bed suitable for experiments with a variety of different control schemes. The system can be used by researcher in the industry as well as on the AAU. The system is connected to the internet, which means that it is possible to conduct experiments for researchers not geographically located at the university.
