To install the permanent key for your stand-alone license, do as 
follows: 

1. Select the permanent License Key from above in this email message 
   and copy it with Ctrl+C. Make sure to select and copy all 
   characters before and including the # mark. 

2. Start the IAR Systems License Manager from the Start menu: 
   Programs > IAR Systems > IAR Embedded Workbench > License Manager 

3. In the License Manager window, click the Install License button. 

4. In the Install License dialog, paste the permanent License Key 
   with Ctrl+V into the text field. Make sure the pasted key does not 
   contain any spaces or hard line breaks before the ending # mark. 

5. Click Install.
